母亲节 MothersDay

　　There is no doubt that mother is the greatest person in the world. She gives me life and takes care of me all the time. It is natural to have a day to show the great respect to our mothers, so people named a day as Mothers'Day in the second Sunday of May. At this meaningful day, people find some special ways to express gratitude.

　　毫无疑问，母亲是世界上最伟大的人，她给了我生命，一直照顾着我。我们理所当然需要表示对妈妈的尊敬，所以人们把五月的第二个星期天定为母亲节。在这个有意义的日子里，人们会找一些特别的方式来表达感激之情。

　　Mothers'Day gives people a chance to express their gratitude to their mothers and it is important to do so. My parents are traditional and they don’t often say words about love, but the things they do for me are never less. When I went to middle school, my classmates sent messages to their mothers or just gave a call on Mothers'Day, until then I realized I must do something for my mother. So I borrowed my friends'phone and sent a message to my mom, telling her that I loved her. Later, my father told me that mom was really happy.

　　母亲节给了人们对母亲表达感激之情的机会，这是很重要的。我的父母很传统，他们不常说关于爱的话，但他们为我做的事却从来都不少。上中学的时候，我的同学们在母亲节的时候给他们的妈妈发了信息，或者给她们打电话，直到那时我才意识到我必须为妈妈做点什么。于是我借了朋友的电话，把信息发给了妈妈，告诉她我爱她。后来，爸爸告诉我妈妈收到我的信息很开心。

　　Every small act we do for our mothers will touch them deeply. If we can’t make her happy every day, at least let her know how much we love her.

　　我们为母亲做的每一件小事都会深深地触动她们。如果我们不能让她每天都快乐，至少让她知道我们有多爱她。
